What is a dedicated Server?
A dedicated server is a machine leased to a single customer, who then benefits from all the power of the machine for its single use, unlike a virtualized solution (VPS). The server is usually located in a Data Center or in English DataCenter which, for its part, guarantees continuous uninterrupted operation regardless of the type of potential failure (fire protection etc.). A dedicated server can either be managed by the client himself, or be partially managed by the host. In the first case the client is able to modify the configuration of the server and applications, in the second case the host takes care of part of the system administration.
